I used to think dental plans were a waste of money. But then I realized if you have a dental plan, you are more likely to get your teeth cleaned. Most dental insurance plans give you two free cleanings each year. A good dentist will catch problems before they become serious…and costly. Plus, you'll only be charged the lower contracted rate when something big comes up.
